Sharing our Heritage:

Peter and Rachelle's Story

Grandpa operated a logging camp way up north and I've listened to many fun stories and experiences about those days. Yes, words like chinking, dirt floor, settling, notching, peeling, debarking, wood stoves, fireplace, splitting and chopping, are all part of my HERITAGE.

My career spans many years in marketing within the wood industry, and my major focus is in interior design, color analysis, and maximizing space. - Rachelle Talbot

As a child, my mother took my brother David and I to our summer cottage at Bevan Lake, while my father went off to fight in World War II. By the time he returned I was 4-1/2 years old. We recruited our cousins and formed the Sherwood Gang, a fearless bunch of kids that would have made Robin Hood proud. I graduated from Paul Smith's New York Forestry School and have been in the sawmill & wood industry all my life. That's my HERITAGE. - Peter Talbot
